On Friday, November 3rd, Dr. Pat Shields received the 2017 Morris Janowitz Career Achievement Award from the Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society in Reston, Virginia. The award is named for Morris Janowitz, the founding editor of Armed Forces & Society. The award recognizes her contributions to the study of civil military relations.
