On September 23rd, an Associated Press article by Adam Beam quoted Dr. Ken Grasso. Entitled “California Governor Travels to Texas,” it discusses California Governor Gavin Newsom’s scheduled speech at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin and his recent criticisms of conservative governors including Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Grasso suggested that Newsome’s attacks on Abbott might actually help Abbott by firing up the Republican base.
