Dr. Casey Wheatland recently organized a symposium for the Catholic Social Science Review entitled “National Conservatism: Catholic Perspectives.” In addition to writing the introduction for the symposium, he contributed an article titled “National Conservatism, Fusionism, and the Legacy of the American Founding” which examines contemporary conservative debates in light of the policy consensus on war, trade, and immigration in early America.
