SWIPS Holds First Meeting of Fall Semester

On September 1st Supporting Women in Political Science (SWIPS) held its first meeting of the Fall 2022 semester. The meeting had a great turnout with attendees including both current and prospective new members. The meeting consisted of member introductions, information covering organizational opportunities and resources, as well as upcoming professional development and social events.

Supporting Women in Political Science (SWIPS) is a non-partisan professional education and development organization centered around aiding political science/public administration majors or adjacent students in exploring all facets of political science so they may discover their professional and academic interests, become more civically active, and expand their knowledge and understanding of politics in San Marcos and beyond. SWIPS is by women, for everyone, so students of any gender identity are welcome.
