On Thursday, May 4th, Texas State University System Chancellor Brian McCall hosted a luncheon for interns at the state capitol. The event honored students from Texas State University and Sam Houston State University who served as interns during the Texas legislative session. Those who attended the event enjoyed a meal while learning more about how the legislative internship process is run – as well as future plans for when the current session ends.
Also representing TSUS were Sean Cunningham, Vice Chancellor for Governmental Relations, and Pierce Mitchell, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Governmental Relations. Faculty representatives from Texas State include Dr. Mora, Associate Chair, Dr. McMahan, political science professor, Dr. Kenneth Grasso, Department Chair, and the College of Liberal Arts Dean, Dr. Mary Brennan.
