In August of 2021, El Acuerdo (The Agreement), an Alternative Dispute Resolution journal based out of Argentina, released its 100th edition. The journal has been co-edited by the department’s own Dr. Walter A. Wright since 2010, and he has published numerous articles and editorials in the magazine during its 25-year history.
El Acuedro is published by the Interdisciplinary Mediation, Conciliation, and Arbitration (IMCA) Consultation Team. The IMCA’s goal is to “is to promote the sense of the common good, truth and justice in society” by promoting methods of alternative, nonviolent dispute resolution. Dr. Wright also serves on the IMCA’s advisory board as a business mediation techniques advisor.
